I really like dead mounts with woodies, but standing and preening are also one of my favorites. If you have never checked it out, look at www.birdmanstudios.com for ideas. My mom does taxidermy and will often suggest folks check out that site for ideas.

Great site to check out for some ideas thanks. I'm leaning toward a preening mount on a log I think.
 
A few weeks ago I recieved my drake woody back from the taxi. He did a good job. Love the colors on a wood duck.IMG_20170318_163528.jpg
