What will you be shooting this fall for antelope ?

I will archery hunting for deer in the Black Hills Wyoming ,then I will pick up my Browning Stainless stalker topped with a Bausch & Lomb 4-12X40 scope, shooting either Hornady or Sierra 117 soft points, what ever shoots the best at the range. got more shooting to do before I decide.

Antelope, what a fun trip, and hopefully bring home some meat !

7MM Rem Mag. Leftover doe tag in Wy. Either Accubonds or Partitions 140 gr. Don't need Partitions but they shoot well out of my gun

Two left over WY tags, taking the tikka t3 25-06 topped with a vortex viper shooting 115 partitions. Hopefully you have success in the hills and share your time there, I'll be there for a rifle deer tag.

270 win w/130 gr accubonds. I was gonna try and get the 308 out this year. But I need some time to mess with 300-500 yard ranges. So the Tikka 270 will be in Casper with me in less than a month!

Antelope buck and a few doe tags up first thinking either Remington 7mm, vx3 4x14 with 120 gr Barnes or browning 25.06, vx3 3x9 with 110 gr accubonds.

Remington 700 (in a B&C stock with Timney Trigger) in .30-06 with a Vortex Viper HSLR 4-16x44 and 168gr HSM Trophy Gold with Berger VLDs.

The kids Remington 700 7-08 with a 140 gr vld. Because it's fun and there lope. The big gun will be in the back seat ... Just in case ...

Heading to Utah for LE rifle buck. I'm planning to shoot a Sako A7 in .243 Winchester, 85 grain Sierra Gameking HPBT handloads over 4451. Had a .8 MOA 5-shot group last weekend out of the test batch. I still need to verify velocities through the crono and run a few more test groups.

Archery for lopes right now, then I have a doe lope muzzleloader tag that I'll use my CVA Optima with a 295 grain plated hollow point pushed with 100 grains of triple 7 powder. Archery deer as well. I plan on using my Ruger American 30-06 with 165 grain Fusions for my bear tag and my Savage 111 .300 win mag with 180 grain Federal Soft points for elk tags if I don't used the 30-06 as the main rifle and .300 wm for a backup.

Heading to Wyoming in 2 weeks and 2 days. Was planning on hunting with my Browning A bolt in 270 Win., 140 grain Berger VLD's. Still bringing it as a backup, but my main rifle will be my Weatherby Vanguard in 30/06 shooting 180 grain Sierra Pro Hunters. I took them both out last weekend and shot at 350 yards. With the 30/06 I got a 3 inch group, the 270 a 5 inch group. I only shot one 3-shot group with each rifle, so it really doesn't mean much. But without time to test them further, I've got slightly more confidence in the 30/06.

My T3 superlite in 30-06 w/165 Nosler trophy grade accubonds topped off with a Vx3i 4-14x40 and my old trusty Model 7 in 7-08 with a Vx3 2.5-8x36 as a back up. Still working out the CDS on the VX3i but so gar so good out to 300. Gonna try to stretch it out to 400 this week. Getting pretty excited.

Ruger 96, 44Mag, 240gr Win JSP's. Ohio whitetails only for me this year. Next year? We'll just to wait & see....

First off, my 7 mag with 140 abs will do the trick on my Nebraska antelope buck. After that, it will be one of my .308s with 150 Hornadys for deer, or, hopefully, my .260 will be ready to shoot some 129 Interlocks. I may throw in a little time with the old TC Thunderhawk and FPB Hornady bullets during mz season in December. In January, it will be back to the .260 for more deer!
