I stay away from the political threads myself. Nobody can agree to disagree so I don't waste my precious time clicking on them.

Treat political threads as informational. Look for FACTS that are presented from either side during discussions. We need well informed voters. If politics is not your thing then don't click on the thread, and hopefully don't vote.

I view it kind of like political bumper stickers. They are not going to change anyones mind. They are just there to irritate you. Ignore them
