I paid for it for a year but it was nowhere near worth the price, in my mind. All of the info I was able to get from Gohunt I found readily available elsewhere, for free.
Any subscription that automatically charges your card without warning rubs me the wrong way as well. It's one of the reasons I ditched my SPOT locator and is my biggest complaint with OnX. If your product is good enough, people will renew on their own.
