Cecil the Lion

I read about Nxaha yesterday and expected several comments on here. I was disappointed,

Lions are lions and do what lions do.

The guide of a group of tourists tracking fresh lion spoor is ridiculous. About the same as walking up to a grizzly in Yellowstone.

Tourist dollars make sane people do stupid things!

This is badass & well worth the 16 min. The first five minutes is an overview of everything that's connected to the Cecil incident & what's happened since, but after that he gets into some really great info on hunting & conservation.

It's a conspiracy!!

No worries. If you can author a 97-post thread about which rifle to use in MT, I have much more faith in your ability than mine to spread the word. ;)

Bahahahaha. That made my night.

Also, Shane Mahoney always deserves two posts because he's practically the Chuck Norris of conservation.

At least the researcher that collared him said the hunter did everything ethically and called him "one of the good guys".

They need to wipe out the family tree so we don't have to listen to the whining in the future
