Thought my hunt was over and in the last 5 minutes a misplaced shot from another hunting group across the field sent this cow over to me. Thought I was going home with a tag in my pocket again.

Finally was able to apply in 2015 New Mexico, got drawn and my wife and I both tagged out. This was our first time elk hunting and we had the time of our lives. We had a great time and are looking forward to going again this fall.

2015 5x6 colorado 2nd rifle kill, 250 yds shot, i killed a cow about 5 mins before on my list b leftover tag. Total of 4 elk killed within 15 mins opening morning out of the same heard between 3 of us

This is my girlfriends first elk. Colorado 2016 2nd rifle, Big cow shot was 531yds. She was drt. I was more excited for her than I was with any elk I have ever shot my self
