Hi
Planning on a 3month New Zealand trip and am interested in any advise, tips, etc.I am hoping to fly into Christ Church in May or June.Might catch tail end or roar ( hopefully ) then would concentrate on Tahr followed by Chamois? Love to try some bird hunting while there as well as fishing if time.I plan on taking several days at a time in backcountry, or longer weather dependent. Thinking the east side would be better weatherwise? How would one get gun permit without liscense from home? Concealed weapon permit good? Could I buy a rifle there?
