Dad was a guide (not full time) for George Moore out of Montour from the early fifties up until the early 70's. Georges camp was on Hahn Creek

Here's a few pictures.

Dad on "Rusty". If I recall we're on top of Bullet Nose Peak looking south towards the Chinese Wall. I still have the saddle AND the 1917 Enfield 30-06AI, Sadly Dad passed in 2000 and the horse? A way back in the late 60's.

Sweet old pics. I always wanted to see the Bob.

No Sitka Gear?! ;)

I was watching the old Eastman’s video on hunting sheep in the NWT from the link you sent me(Oak). They are backpacking around for like 30 days looking for sheep. One guy gets a blister on his little toe so he just cuts a hole in the side to let his toe hang out. Jeans, flannel shirts and chit kickers. Tougher? I would say so.

Awesome pics! Looks like fantastic memories there! Thanks for sharing them.

Love the old hunting pics. Keep them coming.

Dink,
I too like the old Eastman's vids from the NWT. Tough as nails is right.

Love the old pictures. With the Bob in my backyard, I have been all around it, but never in it. This summer, I plan to fix that. Maybe even a hunt in the fall.
