New member. Here is my 2017 Colorado Buck. I take my family every chance I get and antelope is the perfect family hunt!

I went on my first Western hunt this year on a Wyoming Area 57 doe tag. Thought I might have two days to get it done but in retrospect it was a really good thing I got it done on the first day. I'd just about given up after half a day of walking, putting on miles, and seeing nothing but bucks followed by driving the road making up the eastern boundary just glassing and trying to get close enough to the groups I could spot. And missing, more missing than I'd care to admit. The missing led to even more walking to make absolutely sure there wasn't any blood anywhere. As I was throwing in the towel for the day and parking set up camp for the night (I had the bright idea to camp out in 19 degrees in a three season tent and a 40-degree bag...) I saw one last group directly adjacent to where I'd pulled off. This one was the only one in the group to give me a clear shot and she flopped over like God himself had struck her down. As I walked up to her my only thought was "please just don't let me have mis-identified a buck for a doe, because I don't want to have to call a warden on myself". The first thing I saw were her little horns, which put my heart somewhere around my stomach. The second thing I saw was the udder - WHEW! I cannot tell you how jealous I am of all the folks that get to hunt these things regularly. Congrats! Got my first antelope this year too and I'm hooked. Wait til you taste the meat, that will really hook you.

My wife's 2017 Wyoming antelope. Length on both sides was under 14 inches, but heavy enough to still gross 82.

Hey there, new to the forum and fairly new to hunting. I was able to draw my first two antelope tags this year thanks to Randy’s podcast and ONX-maps. Wyoming is a blast! (Filled by both my tags!)
 
First time in a long time.... but I ate my 2017 tag. Not that I didn't have opportunities, but apparently I have become too selective. Had a great season, but had my eye on two different toads and couldn't get an arrow in either one.

Did manage to put baby girl on her first opening weekend of rifle though... so still got to enjoy some tasty back straps!
