    I was checking out the old NM unit 51 thread and I noticed your comment about hunting the early archery tag in 52 last year. How was your hunt and if you would be willing to share any tips or areas to check out or avoid, I would appreciate it! I drew the early 52 archery tag this year and will be trying to put some meat in the cooler!

    Would it be out of line to call you and pick your brain on Area 52? I'm from south dakota and drew my 1-14 archery tag. Looking to get out there first week of august for some scouting and would like to get some info and pick your brain on a few locations i've been looking at on the maps.
    Specifically want to talk about water with it being so dry this year.

    Hi Craig,

    Nice to hear you got a tag. A call is fine with me. I'm pretty busy through next week in the evenings but my days are fairly flexible if you want to try then. 925-766-0299. Does your map show San Antonio Mountain? That's were we focused most of our attention and I have some areas for you to check out.
