Hey, I've been reading some of the mountain goat threads on here, and I see you have also hunted unit 329. I hunted there in 2010 and took a Billy. Im going with a friend up there next week for his goat hunt. I've been up to Boulder Pass a few times, and we're going to camp up near the pass and hunt the Iron Mountain, Sheepherder area, and South fork of Sheep creek. I never actually went to Iron Mountain when I went on my hunt and am a little unsure about the best route to access it and glass it. The maps and google earth make it look like we might be able to stay up on the divide on the south side of the south fork of sheep and follow it there. Is that possible or is there a better way. Either way, we'll go and check it out, but if you have any firsthand info. I'd really appreciate it.
