Looking for a Montana black bear

First piece of day-by-day segments showing my efforts to try fill a Montana bear tag this spring. Will post up the results of each day as we have them ready.

If this style works out, and we are finding lots of hurdles in trying to get a quick turnaround, we will try to do more of these "Day after" or "semi-live" pieces while hunting this fall.

I've been patiently waiting for day 3 and beyond. I noticed the first video said the goal was to post the prior day each day. Did I miss them somehow or did something else happen?

We are trying our best to get them turned around. We had some sound issues last week when we first loaded it, so it is going live in a couple hours. A bit more delayed in this gig than we had hoped, but that is part of working out the kinks. The volume of footage we shoot needs to come down for these "semi-live" hunts, as it is just too hard to go through five hours of footage from two different cameras and try to turn it around timely.

randy, dont feel you need to be in a hurry to get these semi live hunts out as fast as possible, because of demand or increasing popularity and put added pressure on yourself . i enjoy them and will watch them regardless,just like the majority of the people who enjoy and support your shows and podcasts. take your time and put out the video you want.

Keep at er. I have been out very regularly looking for bears this year. Funny enough as of last week almost all sightings of black bears have completely ceased. Early May we saw 26 in a 9 hour period. Talked to the local biologist and he suggested they lay up shortly before the rut kicks in (which here starts this week). Can't get em from the couch! Good luck.
