I'm looking for a take-off barrel for a M700 in 375H&H. Have a hankering for a "cheap" backup thumper. Could be persuaded to bigger.

Let me know what you have. Possibly interested in 338 and 35 call as well.

Do you have a magnum donor action Stew?

Think I can get a new Shaw barrel for about the same price.

The Shaw barrel in 338.06 would be pretty nice. I had a .35 Whelen, but sold it after I bought my .375 H&H. Pretty much the same ballistics out to 200 yds. so I didn't need both.

I've got a 338-06Ai on a Pre64... She rarely gets out to play, too nice of a rifle and too heavy to beat around in the bush.
Have a 35 Brown/Whelen (AI'd 35Wheln on a 270 case) in a FN 98.
And a smattering of lesser cals.

If I go 338 it will probably be a win mag, or possibly a ROY. Don't really want a 338 though.
If I go 35, it will be a 358 Norma or Alaskan... Both of which I could live with pretty easily.

I really want a bigger bore though.

Tap one to .358 Norma.....it produces virtually the same energy as the 375. 250 gr Nosler partition coming out of the tube at 2850fps.
