Microphone noise

Love the podcast. I'm still a few behind, just finished the Leupold episode.

Can you do a quick coaching up of your guests about the microphone noise? It is my only complaint.

It is endemic to the portable kit we use. We have a lightweight kit that we can take anywhere, even to the field as you will see this fall. As a result, the mics are on cords, not on remotes or headsets, so you get some noise when people click the mic/cord on something or tap the table or ..... I've learned how to edit some of it from the audio tracks, but it is impossible to get it all. Or, at least impossible for a guy with my talents. I would expect our podcast to have it occur at times. Sorry.
