As always, episode 19 was very informative. I'm beginning to get a handle on the 5 phases of the elk hunting season. I get the part about about identifying what they need by time, then look for them in areas that best meet those needs. My question is, how do elk meet their need for security in areas with thriving wolf populations?
Maybe it's a stupid question. The easy answer is of course, they don't. I guess the bigger question I'm asking is, how does hunting/scouting change in areas with wolves?
