Looking for a bowhunting partner to share hunt and cost on a do-it yourself Elk OTC hunt.
Planned to leave around Sept 19th, 2014, return Sept 29th.
Partner backed out about a week ago.
Flatlander, can't camp above 8000 feet.
I'm 60 and in good physical condition. I've been to Colorado several times.
Non drinker-non-smoker.

I leave this Friday with my son and will be back on the 22nd. Took him out of school for two weeks

Cant wait to get out of Illinois........

I see you are from northern Illinois.
I'm 40 miles north of St Louis.
I hunt a property near Siloam Springs in Adams county a couple times a year.
The rut up there seems to kick in a week or so before it does here.

Although I know unit 43 pretty well, I would consider joining you if you would respond. I am 65 years old, in good condition and never complain. We could do some set-ups and call those animals in for sure.
