Good point and that's the way I'm leaning. I am set on the 6x36 to accommodate the Appalachian hunting I'll be doing when I relocate and the California hunting I will be doing when traveling for work.

I put a 3.5X10 CDS on 7mm/08, cuz at top end I can really dial in when I'm at the range, testing loads, and lo end when I'm hunting.........(cuz Leupold gave it to Randy as a give away prize, and I won it !!) Can't thank either of them enough. I could have never afforded such a great scope on my own.
