This is my one and only whitetail I've taken. Not a big one but a memorable hunt in the Idaho panhandle in 2004. Finally got it done a few days ago. My dad made the plaque from some 1x6 pine one of the old timers cut with his portable mill. It didn't look like much until dad planed it then the birdseye showed up. We glued wood to the back and bottom of the skull then used modeling clay to shape it. I have a hard time getting material to fit right so I've been experimenting with paint. This is suede spray paint in bucksin color.

Brittany, here is wooden plaque I made for a young friend from Texas. I used that Rock Finish paint, real easy and feels like rocks. Your Plaque is very nice! John
