Just moved back to this state from the eastern seaboard, looking for a hunting buddy to go out with this summer, deer, turkey, pig, waterfowl, heck I'll hunt just about anything worth eating. Looking to go with someone who knows the terrain in central or southern California, I've been out of state too long.. Let me know if you want to go.

Thank you, I might just take you up on that. I haven't done gone waterfowl or upland hunting in a long time though. Maybe you could shed some light on something for me if you wouldn't mind. My grandpa has an older winchester model 12, lightly used, modified choke. Do you think that's a good shotgun to take out? and do you know anything about the tungsten shot I'd have to fire out of it?

You should be good shooting steel through a modified choke.
