Anyone have any experience/photos of a backpacking hunt with a Granite Gear Stratus Flatbed?
I have been backing for 20 years in the mountains of NH, VT & ME. I am moving out west and planning my first backpack hunt for elk and muley this fall. I have worked for 10 years at an outdoor sports store in NH with access to many brands and models of packs, and the Granite Gear has always fit me best and always performed well. I have never carried more than 50# though and though the Granite Gear rep says the Flatbed will definitely fit the need, I'm looking for first hand experience.

I plan on packing in to camp (ultralight-35-40#) with the Flatbed, or similar pack and then hunting from there with a daypack (MR Dragon Slayer). Should the hunt be successful, how much more weight can I reasonably expect the Flatbed to handle in packing out my camp and meat.
