Winchester Model 70 Weather Exteame SS vs Kimber 8400 Montana

I am looking at getting one of these guns in a .338 win mag. After doing some research, I found that some Kimber's have been having accuracy problems. I haven't found any issues with the new Model 70's Weather Extreme SS.

If you own on of these guns could you give me some feed back on your groupings you have fired with the ammo info? Or any other relevant information.

Definitely handle them both. The long action 8400's I've felt and shouldered were kinda awkward and bulky, in my opinion.

Yesterday I handled both of them, the Model 70 felt a littler better.

I'd be surprised if you could find anyone who has shot both. The Winchester is only a couple months old, the Kimber a year or so. Pick the one you like the feel of the best and have at it. I have a feelign the Kimber will not be plesant to shoot due to the weight, but who knows, I wouldn't mind owning it either way.

I have been leaning to the Model 70, I will probably go with that and give it a whirl.
