First Day Out in 2009

Well, its the first day out for the boy and I. Not too shabby of a day. Found 3 fresh and 2 last years. Had to free a deer that had recently been stuck in the fence. The kid is "training" but picking up the idea pretty quick! Many of the deer here still packing their headgear. My son wanted to chase one on foot so we could get his antlers

Well, this lack of snow here cost my wife a bison this year

We wish we had 3 feet. Plus the summer might be a bit scary without it.............hoping for a lot of rain this spring.

Looking forward to hitting the sage looking for sheds around here, might be June before we can.....
