Great Game!

Yup, and the final score was even better.

Sorry, but my cousin and her husband are both U of T - Austin grads, and they are so obnoxious about "Hookem' Horns," I root against the Horns at all possible times.

A great game if ever I saw one. Will be hard for the Red Raiders to not have a let down after that one.

I felt bad for Tech after leading the whole game only to finally lose the lead in the last minute. Wanted to turn it off.....

The QB from Texas Tech just cost Texas a National Championship chance and Colt McCoy the Heisman.

Great game.

Tech played a great game...huge win for them. Hope they beat OU & OSU. I'm a Longhorn fan but they played shitty for the most part. Hope Sack-po & Miller are ok.

My wife has a Ticket for TX to win the BCS National Championship... pays 24-1... still possible.... but depends on polls....need tech to lose 1 etc,etc.... I have USC... 3-1..My longshot was BYU..[ done???]

And now the polls are out, two teams who have had a cakewalk are still in the top 8 - Penn State and USC.

Penn State has the Big Ten pushovers. I say this, being partial to this conference, growing up in the Midwest. The Big Ten is a very poor conference this year, as it is most years.

Then, there is USC, the best California college football team money can buy. They play in one of the weakest conferences in the country. And, they still can't run the table there.

If USC or Penn State were in the SEC or Big 12, they would both have at least two losses, and maybe three.

Friggin' media voters don't care who is best, only who they feel will make their alma matter look better.

Seems the BCS wants to put the Big Ten winner and the Pac-10 winner in a championship game and make one of them the national champ. In most years, neither of those conference winners could make it through the SEC championship game, yet they end up with a national title.

I am surprised they have Utah and BSU as high as they do. Those teams never get any respect from the media, so I guess they will have to go to a BCS game, thrash one of the royalty teams, and still end up third in the final polls.

When is D-I football gonna get their head out of the sand and start a playoff system? The bowls are rigged for padding the odds to this conference or that conference, and to bring in gross sums of money to the sponsoring conferences.

I hope USC and PSU get in a BCS bowl game and get their a$$es handed to them.

Whew, I feel better now.

Can you imagine the amount of money to be made by a NCAAF playoff system!! It'd make March Madness pale in comparison...

HAHA, hope you didn't spend much on that ticket.

Nope $5.00... I take a team from each conference that has a chance...mostly odds at 20-1 BYU was 45-1 I also take 4 NFL teams I have good odds on Tennesse/Baltimore/Chicago/Denver[ $10.00..each]. I hit New England at 75-1 the year Brady replaced Bledsoe... $10. returned $750.

Then I hit Baltimore at 250-1 $ 10. payed $2,500.....I spread around $100. at the Sportsbook every year... before the season starts... Way ahead, and its cheap fun... Odds on NFL longshots are way down in recent years.. w/parity... But with Brady out....things look good...

Right now busy trying to figure out who needs to lose in the Utah/TCU game to help BOise State the most....

TCU came out on fire, but stalled...... Utah hanging around....

A tougher schedule would help BSU..........

Thats the trouble with taking bets on the so called "weak Conferances"
they have to go undefeated to pay-off...then they have to win the title game.... Loved that BSU win over Ok in the fiesta bowl....As far as gambling goes always bet with yer head... not your heart... thats why I never put money on ASU....hump
