Weather was shitty, with high winds and from the wrong direction all weekend (SE wind). Still pretty smokey around here as well.

That being said, I did find a few lopes.

I have seen this one several times.

He came in close Fri and Sat, but when he would work downwind he knew something wasn't right. I had him at 30 yards, but wanted him at the water (20 yards) for a shot.

This morning I had a decent buck at 22 yards, but decided to take pictures instead. This shot is with no zoom.

Here is what happened when I tried to zoom in. Guess I made too much noise trying to shift my chair and the doe busted me, sending the buck on his way. woops....

I passed up several bucks, but lots of season left (and hopefully better weather). I would like to fill my doe tag first, but the bucks were more cooperative this weekend.

This gal kept me company yesterday.

Bad shot, but this BWT used the pit most of the weekend. Lotta love, spitting at me...beatch....:D

Nice pics, and a good archery buck if you can get him. I like the harrier shot. Flying birds are tough without excellent light.
