I made a trip o New Orleans over the weekend to pick up a camper I towed down after the flood for my uncle. He's done restoring his home and I did a little fishing Sunday





I had a funiture pick up in D.C. last week and figured you guys out west may like to see what they look like on a good year.

But what I want to know is about the fish.
Is it a smallmouth bass.:

That's a Black Drum, about 25 pounds. Not good eating so I filled 4 crab traps with it. I pulled it up from under my uncles sale boat in Slidell new to New Orleans last weekend. At 1st I thought I had a nice big Red fish.

Cool pics crossbow. Smoke the drum over mesquite for 45 minutes...take the fish off, throw it away & eat the charcoals.
