A few (I'm easily forgettable ;) ) probably can recall that I bored you last Fall with our exploits in Eastern Oregon.

That being said, I can finally (now that they've been put out by a certain hunting rag) post the field pics of my buddy's buck....helping him find that hog and celebrating his success that day still ranks as one of the hilights of 35 years of hunting. Couldn't of asked for a more deserving hunting partner!

Stan they went 190"ish" gross back then...when we scored it we couldn't agree on a couple of spots and came up with everything from 188 and change to 192. Though the pics don't do it justice, was just about 27" wide but the fronts on that buck carry about as much mass as I've personally ever seen- bladed and heavy clear to the tips. I'll have to ask him if he ever got it officially scored after we got back but I doubt it- he's the kind of guy that was more eager to get the misc pics of our hunt back for those memories rather than to bask in his own success.

Nice pics and I remember how you told the story of your hunt with all the great pics. You look young for your age. What's your birthday again.:D

Funny.;) Just kidding, looking forward to reading the story. What rag?

Thanks guys! We were all pretty hopped up when we got to that buck...wish I would have zero'd in on those triple eye guards on his right side, those had big time character.

This is an enlargement of another jpeg...kinda grainy-
