Did they discontinue it or what?

So the wife got me a Nice frame for my birthday a few weeks ago.

I'm planning on a High Country deer/elk muzzy hunt again this year, probably going for 5-6 days. Does it make sence to buy the 'load hauler' and bring it along on the trip? Doesn't look like it would take up much room and would probalby fit right behind the bag. That way when I have to pack out my bull/buck I can just leave the bag in camp and hoof quarters out in game bags? I think it would be pretty slick, would also keep the blood and mess off the bag. Sound like a good idea or waste of money?

Also can the lid be attached the frame as a day pack? I would think this would be about as versitile as the 'Crew Cab'.

I would just use the crewcab if you have one. The crew cab pretty much is a load sling with bags attached to it. The advantage of the crew cab is it makes a kick ass day pay, and the load sling does not. I have both and the only time i would use the load sling is for excersizing or hiking when i put a bag of rock salt in it for a load.
