anyone used a jet boil stove?

It looks like a nice setup with the burner and fuel fitting inside the cup/pot.

Anyone use any other stoves they'd recommend?

I havn't used one. Those that have speak highly of them.

I use an MSR Rocket. Compacts tiny, and is very affordable.

Smalls,

I have a MSR Whisper Lite that's about 20 years old and still working fine. Don't think you can go to wrong with any MSR product.

I have had my WhisperLite for 6 or 7 years and it crapped out on my last fall. Tried to replace some parts and clean the hell out of it, but no go. I got my moneys worth, but decided to replace it instead of risking it during the season. I picked up a WindPro. Not very expensive and a pretty simple set up. So far, so good.

I have one, it works great and is unaffected by cold temps. It will do 24 burns per can if your heating water for coffee, Mtn House, or whatever else. I like the fact that it all comes in one package and is easy to carry around. 2 cannisters should last close to 3 weeks.

Just picked one up today to use next weekend looking at goats in the Boulder-White Clouds. Sure looks like a slick unit. I like that every thing nests inside the cup. I can't remember when I used a backpacking stove for anything other than heating water.
