Going to be cooking some shrimp tonight to go along with the Steelhead and Steak.
Does anyone have a good recipe for them lil buggers?

Kraven,

Did you bring back the bait? You could mix them with the leftover Roe, add some Hot Shots, and stir....

Actually, just throw them in a pan with Olive Oil and fresh/chopped Garlic, and saute'. If you want to get bolder, look for anything in your spice cabinet that has the word "pepper" in it. (Cayenne, Black, White, Red...etc...)

2 cups of orange juice,1 cup of pineapple juice, 1 cup sweet grenadine. 2 tblspn of lemon or lime juice, 1/2 cup vinegar, 2 tblspn soy sauce, a dash of wochestershire sauce, 1/2 cup of olive oil.

Marinade the shrimp in the mixture of fruit juices for about three hours. Warm the olive oil in a pan and add a dash of worshestershire sauce. Pull the shrimp out of the marinade and toss it in the hot olive oil. Cook it very fast.. about 2 minutes on each side. Pull the shrimp out of the pan and place on a towel to drain. Add the juice mixture to the olive oil and stir in 1/4 cup of cornstarch dissolved in 12 ounces of water. Stir constantly until it thickens. Add the shrimp and serve over rice.

Works with cubed pork, chicken, turkey, venison, or beef. Pork venison or beef should be rolled in flour before cooking in the olive oil.

Here's an easy one for large shrimp (Hmmm?) -

Shrimp Kabobs

Alternate shrimp, onion wedges and red and/or green bell pepper pieces on the kabob stick, but weave a slice of bacon between them as you stick them on the stick. Brush with any decent barbecue sauce and grill over coals. Keep a spray bottle of water handy to put out any fires that pop up from the grease dripping.

Take a couple of large portabella mushrooms, remove the stem and scoop out the center. Saute in butter until limp. Remove from butter and fill with crab meat. Top with grated mootzerella cheese.

In the hot pan add crushed fresh garlic and baby shrimp. Saute until color changes to pink. Remove shrimp and place on top of cheese. Place under a low broiler until cheese is completly melted.

Remove and serve with grilled salmon and favoite Rose` wine.

This is extreemly rich in texture and flavor.
