Please forgive me for asking for help in finding a good fish recipe but. . .I landed a 20lb CARP today.

The best recipe I have so far is:

Fillet
Place on CEDAR shingle and BBQ until black
Throw away the Carp and eat the board!! :D :D :D

Are there any others? Family says thar tared a eaten cedar!

You have 2 choices.
1. slow cook the carp in the oven with with a couple strips of bacon and fresh herbs and lemon. Onions and garlic to taste.
2. Grill on the BBQ the same way as if you were baking it.

Hope these help. That is one healthy carp you landed. ;) ;)

I have never had Carp. But I have to cook fish for the peaple I guide fishing all the time.We use Ant Jemimas red pancake batter.we fillay all our fish except brook trout role in the batter and cook in hot oil in a frypan cook till golden brown. This works real good with Bass Perch whitefish Pickrel Salmon and Bluegilles.Good luck and good eating.

Tobey,
Try cooking the same way only use cornmeal. Nothing better for crappie and blue gill in my opinion.
