I spent the day at the range today and settled on the load for my savage 110 243. The load is 41 grs. of IMR 4350 using CCI 200 primers and Hornady 100 gr. spire points. This is the load I tried before using Winchester large rifle primers and I was getting around 2840 fps. I consistently shot five shot groups of 1" at 200 yards. I sighted dead on at 100 yds. and it hits about 2" low at 200. In the terrain I hunt I will probably never get a 200 yard shot so I think this should work quite well.
