Apparently, there was an article in Sunday's Denver newspaper that stated Wyoming is reducing the number of antelope tags available by 6,000. Now I'm even more anxious about the upcoming drawing!

Todd-They say the reason is because of the very dry summer last summer and the exceptionally cold winter we had here this winter. Animals went into the winter with alot less backfat than normal for winter storage, and then the cold temperatures and little to eat caused some losses and also some abortions etc. I was told however that doe tags are a dime a dozen here where we live so it must be another part of the state where most of the reductions are coming from. bcat
