Hello, I am a midwesterner who has only hunted whitetails, but making my first trek westward to hunt in CO Unit 70 this fall. I will be staying near Telluride. The primary goal is a new, fun, and challenging experience, with the secondary goal being harvesting of good clean healthy meat.
This will be a self guided, public land hunt. My question is if there is anyone familiar with this area who would be willing to help out a new hunter with some questions. I can be available by phone or email, and would be sincerely thankful for any help. I'd be willing to make a trade of some sort to accommodate you for your time.
I feel so lucky and excited to be doing this hunt in fall. Thanks guys! -Paul
