The $80 Hotdog
Costco will get you the same damn way. Go in to restock my coffee supply and a hotdog/soda combo for the road. Next thing I know, there’s $290 worth of “stuff” on the way home with us.- mutedblade

Cluster Headaches
I have severe migraines about 15 days a month. Some are not as bad as others but damn if they aren’t the most painful thing I’ve experienced. I take the Aimovig injection once a month and still require abortives that only work sometimes. A bad episode will land me in the ER (every few years)...- mutedblade

Knife sharpening
Haven’t struggled since I got the Lansky system and touching up with a good honing steel. Before that, I got pretty good at using an Arkansas stone. For convex ground knives, I use sandpaper on a mouse pad or phone book plus a strop.- mutedblade

What was your first big game rifle, and do you still have it?
I’ve still got my Glenfield 30A in 30-30 given to me as a gift back in the early 90’s. Killed my first fifteen or twenty deer with it. My dad still uses it to dispatch cows on the farm that are beyond helping. I grab it if I’m headed to the woods to hunt.- mutedblade
