    Light cheap accurate rifle

    Ruger American checks all those boxes. Have one in 30-06 and it groups as good or better than my hells canyon. No frills just a great shooting cheap rifle.

    Hog Hunting Near Austin?

    Their calendar is on their site, and from what I recall they do not. Pretty basic hunt, bring in your own food, they have cookware and utensils. Shower and bed. Guide is decent and can shoot a ram if you would like for additional $. No hidden fees was what I liked!

    Not sure how close you would be to Abilene area, but I hunted with Dos Plumas their and it was a decent place.
