Well yesterday I loaded a handful of 9.3x62 with 255gr Geco bullets and N150. Also cleaned some 404 Jeffery brass.
Got some new soft points to try in the 404. 70+ grains of powder a shot that. Big grin though.
Scrummy
Yeah 3" for pheasant is a bit much!

When I was growing up life was simpler - Seemed to use 30gr No.5 fibre wad for...
Was indeed, sir! Good to hunt with family and friends. (I have a suspicion my Dad was holding back from shooting as I shared a hide with him).

Equipment was:
Mossberg 535 pump action
Duck shells: 3.5" No.3...

.223 Rem - Just cheap to shoot fun which is capable of hunting and range toy stuff
257 Roberts - some areas we need a 100gr bullet so the Bob does better than the .243W
7x64 - Works great with non-lead and also up to 175gr Nosler Partitions and also 180gr target rubbish...
Hi folks,
I am looking at doing my first non-resident hunt and I'm looking at Arizona for rifle hunting.

I'm not actually too worried about what I hunt. I'm from the UK...
