Nosler AB LR 168gr bullets in a 280AI
I have used h4831 historically and dabble with stabal 6.5. I'd have to check my data when I get home. I think my most accurate with the h4831 was at about 2780fps. It was slow. I had a load with stabal 6.5 and 168 Bergers that was about 3030fps with a 26 in barrel. There is a new barrel on it...- chevyman181

Chinese diesel heaters
We have one and use for a tent and truck bed camping down to about -20 in ND. We have 2 trolling motor batteries that we put in a cooler and will last 10-12 days on low/med. Let us know how your like it. We have a topper on a 3/4 long bed that we stay in most the time. We have been kicking strong the idea of a topper for my wife's Tacoma and one these looks nice but they are a little spendy for sure..- chevyman181

6.5 CM, 6.5 PRC Enough/Effective for Elk?
We had the same issue with the 6.5 PRC. We to something in .284 cal. The 6.5s killed them just not the way we liked. Ours shots were between 200-450 yards.- chevyman181

26" Shilen 280ai, Savage pre-fit barrel
I purchased this barrel about a year ago for my wife's 280ai. They had it in stock and we didn't want to wait on ordering one. She decided she didn't like it. The barrel has about 200rds through it.
