    Jacket separation is bullet failure for me. Accubonds are cheap and work great. No reason to look any further.

    I won’t ever hunt or go to the woods without snakeproof boots or snake gaiters in warm weather. I’ve never once been struck at at my upper body, but have been struck several times on my lower legs. It’s your life and time, do as you want.

    Turkey choke for Remington 1187 12 Ga.

    I never have the luck of others. The factory full chokes have never worked for any of the guns I’ve setup. My 870 20 gauge Compact with an IC 555 choke has 300+ pellets in a 10” circle at 40 yards. That’s with a 1 5/8 ounce load. My 20 ga 1187 gives me 350 pellets with the same load and choke.

    Three seasons. First season I passed on a shot at a cow. Second season I let my friend shoot a young bull, while standing next to him. The third season I shot a bull while by myself. All on public land.

    I’ve never seen an arrow shoot better when the broadhead and the vanes are lined up, ever. Sounds like a finicky setup. Good luck with that.

    All of mine are factory rifles and are usually 1/2” groups. I find that if it takes a seating depth adjustment to get accuracy, then it’s too finicky of a load. Some folks like to tinker with stuff, though. Heck, I don’t even know or care how far off the lands I am.

    I’ve been lucky with the dozen or so rifles that I load for with the COAL listed on the load data. I haven’t had any trouble getting the bullets I want to shoot in any rifle at the velocity that I want to at least MOA type accuracy.

    Broke down today

    A 223 would’ve been a better choice, especially, if cost was a concern. I love my Tikka 223.
