    Suggestion for future episodes....

    I personally would love to see a deer hunt out east like in NY, ME, NH, VT, OH or anywhere on the east coast. Even a Midwestern hunt would be appreciated. I read that you don't think you'll be going back east, but it cant hurt to let you know that you have fans that would be interested in it.

    Who cares? As long as your hunting legally, titles don't mean a thing. In his eyes your a trophy hunter, but maybe someone in Iowa might consider you a trophy hunter based on what you consider a trophy.     Never heard a bad thing. My go to rifle is a T/C Icon which is basically the same thing except a little more refined. They are heavy guns, but they are accurate right out of the box.

    Not a buck, but still a trophy in my eyes. Go her 40 min into my first sit of the year. Didn't go more than 50 yards from the shot.

    Any one here still hunt with milsurp rifles? Ive always loved milsurp rifles and plan on getting a few in the near future and I'm thinking about hunting with them a time or two if the accuracy is there.

    Either one is an elk killer. Choose the rifle that you feel the most comfortable with. If you felt equally comfortable with both, then id go with the 06 becasue it hits a little harder and you have more options when it comes to ammunition.

    All great calibers but my vote goes to the 06! A cartridge that has disputably taken more game than any other cartridge in north america. It can kill anything in N america and you have such a wide verity of factory ammo that's available in almost every hunting store

    So whats the next rifle you guys want to get? Personally when it comes to factory rifles, my next purchase will probably be a T/C .223, but I'm always on the look out for a military surplus rifle.

    Well it was going to be 150, but 20 bucks was what the guy wanted to start the work. Not sure why I wanted to do it, but I thought it would be pretty cool at the time (I believe I was maybe 13). I've seen some pretty cool chipmunk mounts though.

    Did you end up getting your mount? The very first animal I was going to get mounted was a chipmunk and the guy I gave it to me took 20 bucks and never did it. Maybe 5 years later I was on a hunting forum for NY and I mentioned the incident and ended up getting a series of pm's from the guy...

    This is the buck I got this year here in NY. Not my best buck, but I haven't gotten a buck in a few years so im more then happy to have gotten it. He also had a bad limp so I thought he wouldn't make it through the winter. It was a heart shot at 70 yard shot while he was running through the trees.
