It was tough hunting in 33 this year. Quite a few elk were blown out of the area early. Then another 700 plus holed up on Tobin's place and pretty much stayed there the entire season.
Started to look at the choices for best host and saw Chad Belding and Colorado Buck. Had to back out and see if these were the nominees for gayest host.
Sorry Randy, until you bring in some girls with double D's, Hawg Dawgs has you beat on the other choice...
I add pork fat to the grind. After the grind, I add some water and mix it in. Unless you grind yer deer/elk right a way, there will be moisture loss. Adding some water will make a juicier burger. The FDA used to allow butchers to add water to ground meat. I've heard some stores like Walmart...
Randy, I enjoyed the latest episode. More so because I've hunted that same country a number of times over the years. Most recently in Sept when I bagged a nice 6pt with my bow. Question, you kept referring to it as public land throughout the show. I'd be more inclined to say public access...

I have an antelope tag this year for a traditional quality B&C area and have looked over hundreds of bucks. We've maybe seen one or two that would hit the 80 mark. The rest have been similar to what others are describing. Howdy Doody told me I needed to research my areas better. Good to hear...
Nice looking buck. However, I passed on at least a 100 bucks between last Sat & Sun trying to find something in the 80 or better class. May end up doing the same next weekend. Its all what yer after...
I'd go with a lb of Retumbo and see how it shoots. If it works, start looking for some 8lb jugs. I picked up several 8lb'rs the other day at $167 a jug. They were no more expensive than any other powders the guy had in stock...
I saw a collared cow elk in the Thorofare a number of years ago. In 2007 while hunting green Mtn, I saw a cow elk with a toilet seat around its neck. Always wondered how it got there...
