I have a mint Horn Hunter Full Curl Combo F/S with a large hydration bladder and Heavy Duty canvas game bag that attaches to the frame.
The pack has only be used a few times and has not hauled anything out. Its USA made and carries a full Lifetime warranty. Its really a great pack.

I had a browning A bolt stainless stalker in 338 with the Boss in LH.........Foolishly I sold it. It had plenty of barrel to chop and re crown. I would love to have it back.
With that said I would chop the barrel and re crown just like shootbrownelk suggested. In 30-06 I would run that barrel...
Yeah they are very easy to deal with folks for sure. You are right it's much cheaper than a new scope. Not that it really matter, but I just like the scope. The Reticle will only set me back $70 plus shipping and the time it takes to get it done. They are going to work with me on finding the...
I've got a late model 2.5x8x36 VX-III that is just screaming at me to have it jazzed up in the Leupold custom shop.
Idea #1 Get a CDS dial installed and have dials made
Idea #2 Get a Ballistically matched reticle installed (BDC)
I have CDS scopes now and I like them. I m interested in the...
I primarily hunt woods and big timber areas, so my choice is based solely on that. I use an older pair of Leupold 8x32 Gold Ring Binos with a good harness. I see stuff well before most do. They work well way past shooting time. I have not found I need or want much more than a 4-5 exit pupil. I...
Yeah I hear ya on the price! At any rate based on the grouping you got today I would still use the Fusion. I have shot one Bear with the Fusion Bullet out of an 06' and it worked perfectly. Had a dead bear, two holes in the bear and it only went 15 yards!
I m all about a heavy load combo for...
I was also going to say that Nosler loads there own "factory" loading's for the 6.5 might want to check out their offerings as well before ordering anymore "custom ammo"
Cheers
Fusions would be my load and its not hard to believe its a very accurate bullet and it might be the best Speer has ever turned out besides the Grand Slam. IMHO. There's nothing wrong with a factory box of ammo in fact these days its quite good. Guess the proofs in the pudding
Good...
Like other have said you are way over max and more than likely seeing that. With that said you could always try some 4064. I like Varget , 4064 and 4895 myself for the 308. My most accurate loads across the board have always come with 4064 and similar burn rate powders.
VA I m a huge 35 rem guy myself. I have shot a chit load of deer with. I will argue all day it might be the best cartridge for pure woods hunting. I love it. I will say this though. When I was building my rifle ( 358 win ) it was going to be a 35 rem. I honestly decided not to go 35 rem simply...
