    Yes placement for sure was the issue both times. you live and you learn. I setup in the dark both times in new areas. Expensive lesson to learn over and over. I like the wire system that elk mountain has, hopefully that aids in sturdyness...

    BuzzH, I have run across this with landowners block Forest Service roads. I haven't yet looked into the legality of this but I didn't think a landowner could block FR off like that.

    Thanks did the Euro myself this time. Cooler and a pressure washer with a little peroxide got it done. It was actually a short hunt. 30 minutes after sitting down on the hillside watching the draw the bull and 8-10 cows came right up out of the bottom.

    This was the first year I could hunt as a resident in Wyoming. I didn't get it done during archery season. I hunted hard for 6 days solo in unit 21. Came back to unit 13 with a rifle and was able to connect on a 224 yard shot.
