I got my antelope but it's far from what I was hoping for. I went 3 days early to scout. only found about 6 bucks in that time and one that was over 12". I found most of the antelope up in deer country and over somewhat near the reservoirs but did not spend more than half a day on the east side of the mountain. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I scouted hard this past weekend. It was tough. Low densities in my opinion. I have my work cut out for me. LOL

I first looked on the west side of Strawberry Butte. Did a big loop up there. and didn't see any goats until I circled back south along the 32/33 boarder. There is a waterhole just north of Bog Hot Rd that held a herd of antelope. only saw an average goat in that group. 41.926950°, -118.765386°

The morning of the next day rode my atv over Sentinel Peak and towards Bishops peak. I continued west down into the head of New York canyon. good looking country but I only saw some does. I'm sure there were some bucks in there as I did find some scrapes.

Day 2 evening I went up on the west side of New York peak and towards Knott Creek. I did see a decent buck up high in there but other people were watching him too so I moved on. I saw about six goats on that trip but only the one decent buck.

Day 3 I spent around Onion Valley Res. and Knott Creek Res. I was told that there are some big bucks that can be found in deer country near the head of Knott Creek and Little Onion Res drainage/Alder creek. I spent time learning the roads but never saw any fresh scrapes or goats so I went back down towards a junction where you can go to either Onion or Knott Creek Res.
