I'm looking for any information you may have about hunting that area. I see that they only harvest a few deer a year and that it's probably not the best spot, but for me the important part is just getting out there and learning. I don't need trophies or photos for Instagram. I just want to get out, hunt, and hopefully get some meat. So if you have any info, or know someone that's hunted it. That would be awesome.

I scouted unit A3 on the south side of Heron Woods, but didn't end up hunting it. And then I hunted Unit A2. I went in the unit a few times before the season and there were plenty of deer tracks.

And I bumped a deer on my way out of the unit on my first hunt, but I didn't see any deer after that.
