Same, every year after I process my first critter I go "That's it, it's time for more more horsepower!" My enthusiasm dies as soon as I look at the price tags.
Some of the hardest working and most successful people I know smoke the ganj. All good crafstmen or successful at their work. I get it, you have a bias, anecdotally, I have not seen it have a massive impact on my community. I'd rather see alcohol illegal before mary jane.
A guy I worked with moved to Wyoming the year before his oldest graduated high school so that her tuition would be paid for by the state. His wife's only criteria was that they could be in a bigger town that has good and accessible community involvement. He chose a dirt cheap plot of land 40...
I take exemption to the game and fish director Nesvik saying the Bighorns are unsuitable habitat. I'm guessing the bears would do just fine up there, the issue is social pressures that would be in higher conflict.
They have some work to do on it. Some elk areas weren't showing up in the hunt planner, I'm guessing they are waiting until the final season proposals are approved.
I'm guessing you haven't watched his comeback episode where he straight up says both candidates are unfit for the position. His message to Americans is to continue to push for whatever policies they think are right through advocacy and hard work, everyday. That's a better message for citizens of...
I guess if him using his influence to get 9/11 first responders health coverage makes him a political hack, I can support that type of political hackiness. The dude hasn't been pulling punches against either Biden or trump.
My thoughts on WY:
90/10 Split.
Double the price of my resident tag.
Allow two either sex tags per year granted one is current NR price.
Allow anyone (R/NR) to enter the 10% draw at the current NR price.
Half the quotas on antelope doe fawn tags.
Eliminate any point system in place...
Are they additional tags or something? I've had our local warden call me twice to see if I've filled my tag as a rancher in the unit would like some culled off their place.
Yeah, I mean it's not as nefarious as it sounds. Typically, the game and fish will try to contact active license holders for that unit and tag before just throwing out some extra tags. They've been doing this for several years.
@BuzzH can probably speak more to it than I can. From what I understand we do already have this program for damages to hay/fencing etc. but the owner has to provide some sort of access to qualify for the reimbursement.
just giving this thread an update, if you are a state of wyoming resident, and haven't given your opinion to your state legislative, now's your time. this is in committee this week. Link to your state congressman above.
