As much as I love the main 3; elk, deer, antelope. I thoroughly enjoyed your buffalo. I would like to see more of the moose, sheep, mnt goat, buffalo, wolf type hunts. They seem more premium. I live by proxy in those 20 minutes- Westernglory

What's your average Rifle shot range on an Elk?
I debated this very question as I purchased my new 300 wsm. After 20 years and over a dozen elk I average 200-250 yrd. I did find a bull 2 seasons ago at 30 yards.- Westernglory

It sounds like to me you want to hunt in the units around the city of Ketchum. Great deer & limited access. Get off the roads and navigate past private. You may end up with a whopper.- Westernglory

Idaho Late Archery Muleys
If you are so inclined the late unit 28 may be your ticket to punching that tag. It opened on Dec 1 for general archery. I have enjoyed that hunt for years. The deer numbers are tremendous and you are guaranteed to have numerous encounters.- Westernglory
