Well I went ahead and got my mobility impairment certificate. I did get a tag for archery deer in September. I likely won't have a crossbow by that hunt date. How many deer can you kill in your home state?
I live in NM and it's 1 deer per person here. Either you can get a draw or buy a landowners tag. Really makes me jealous of other states being able to get more than 1. Black Bear Hunting for a New Hunter
I live in new mexico and have hunted all 3 of those species. Yeah a 44 mag will do just fine. If you are willing to buy something, there is lots of options. Never shot or owned a hoyt. My cousin had a brand new one last year. He gets new bows every season. He did tell me his 1st one had a small fracture on limbs. That maybe the case who knows. I personally don't really care what weapon anyone uses. As long as it gets you outdoors and puts food on the table. It's great that we have multiple options nowadays to hunt with.- Vanishe187

Good guns done dirt cheap
I have a T/C encore pro hunter. Absolutely love it. Usually can find barrels for really cheap. Can also get barrels made for almost any caliber. I enjoy the single shot, most people aren't a fan. New predator gun
Yeah for pelt saving even the 204 left big holes in my bobcats and fox. That 17 hornet really shines with the smaller predator pelt hunters. If I don't care about pelts I definitely prefer my 22-250 over my 223. I own lots of different predator calibers they all have their own pros and cons...- Vanishe187
