CB Radio in hunting rig
My dad an uncles did the same thing back in the day. I got my truck stuck over where I hunt and got on channel 4 and got hold of a group of people 4 wheelin’ and they came and pulled me out. It was worth every penny that 30 pack of Busch light cost me that I got em for helping me out!- Tecumseh

CB Radio in hunting rig
I hunt in a couple of remote areas of Ohio where cell phone reception is sketchy at best. The local farmers in that area use em quite a bit. They come in handy at times. Sometimes we’ll get on and bs with em on Friday and Saturday nights along with some of the other locals.- Tecumseh

CB Radio in hunting rig
Anyone still have a CB radio in their hunting rig? My aunt gave me the two my uncle had after he passed away and I had one of em checked out and put it in my truck with a good antenna. I found em easier to use when a bunch of us head out west instead of cell phones whenever we needed to make...- Tecumseh

Fletching arrows today
Taking the opportunity to refletch some Axis 5mm shafts for the upcoming season here in Ohio. My dad got this Blitzenburger jig sometime in the early 80’s and it still works as good as the day he got it. I had to replace the clamp last year and also replaced the springs and bearings in the knock... -

Found ammo today! 🙌🏻
Lucked out and got 2 boxes each of 300 WSM & 450 Marlin ammo. This will be saved for hunting season.- Tecumseh

Idaho Frank Church Wilderness Spring Bear
Thanks for the reply’s! I’m in pretty good shape and starting to ramp up my conditioning for the spring and fall season. I’ve done a couple solo trips in the Bob Marshall wilderness and would like to do some fishing while I’m out there.- Tecumseh

Mechanical’s! Used one for the first time two years ago, and the penetration on a broadside shot on a deer at 25 yards was piss poor! Went back to a fixed blade and never looked back. -

Best broadhead for elk?
G5 Montec. They fly like darts out of my Bow. Always liked the 100 gr Thunderhead too! The Montec shoots better out of my current rig. -
