Elk pack on a Budget??
I have been using my Kelty Redcloud recently. It has enough space for extended backpacking trips but can cinch down fairly small. I'm using it because I have it and don't want to spend the money on something I don't "need." The downsides are: the synthetic material is not quiet in the brush...- MTPharmHunter

Travelling man's buck!!!
I had an awesome opportunity last Wednesday to go spotting for a good friend as he hunted his western MT mule draw tag. This is what we came up with! It was his first mule deer and an awesome hunt, we saw bucks everywhere rutting their brains out. Watched two bucks fighting on the hill above...- MTPharmHunter

Bear activity in Montana
Saw my first bear of the year tonight! I'm in western MT not far from Missoula. It was a good looking bear, just didn't have time to make the 3hr hike it would have taken to get to him in the 1hr of daylight I had left.- MTPharmHunter

Paternity Tests
Great looking birds! Must have been awesome getting a double with the son! I posted a recipe for turkey enchiladas in the recipe forum that I used for my bird last year and this year. I would recommend checking it out! Now you need to work on putting two bears down on the same day!- MTPharmHunter

Lifetime Licences - Idaho
I'm not sure about the archer permit... I also bought the lifetime license before moving from Idaho. I am kicking myself for not getting the lifetime fishing license along with it. I've already paid for mine hunting in Idaho for 4 years as a nonresident. As mentioned above you do have to buy...- MTPharmHunter

2012 Broadhead Review
My brother knocked down his bull with a muzzy fixed blade with replaceable blades. The arrow hit a rib on the entry and somehow took a 90 degree turn and came out the back of the stomach cavity sticking into the inside of one of the hind quarters. Snowmobiling around Missoula
