    What is the 1 rifle you regretted buying or wished you never had bought?

    Savage/Stevens Model 200 in 300 Winchester Magnum. I bought it as my first elk hunting rifle in college. It was a very accurate rifle, but after 3 different types of recoil pads, I got rid of that rifle. I can still feel the recoil to this day!

    Here is my 2018 SE Montana mule deer. He is a nice 4X5 muley. There are a couple of kickers hidden by my rifle sling. My brand new Bergara B-14 came in pretty handy taking this buck and another muley doe.

    150grn ELD-X in a 7mm-08

    Clamdin, I have taken two mule deer bucks with those bullets. They followed the normal lung shot death method of boom, flop, and dead. Unfortunately, I cannot report how they perform at longer range as those deer were taken at ~75 yards and 200 yards.
